I am a Wife, Mom and Grandma AND after my family went through some serious lifestyle changes - I understand the power of healthy, whole food. We feel great, have more energy, our clothes fit and our Dr.'s don't get many visits. This sent me on a learning adventure where I became a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Health Minister from Hallelujah Acres and Certified through the T. Colin Campbell foundation on Plant Based Nutrition. When you look at your diet, what works for one person won't necessarily work for the next - each one of us is unique in our needs! It is about lifestyle not about diet books! "Eating can and should be the most enjoyable part of your diet" Ken Immer, CCO of Culinary Health Solutions. So let's start with the foods you love and end up improving your health and wellness!

I began my professional career in Health Care as an R.N. and quickly realized that I preferred Preventative Medicine and was Certified as a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I hold multiple fitness certifications including TRX, Titleist Golf Fitness, Ballet Barre, and also run a 1:1 fitness training business in Greenville, S.C. I am Stott Pilates Trained and in combination with my Corrective Exercise Certification, I offer Rehab Fitness Programming with referrals from Physicians, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors. I have worked for over 25 years as a Fitness Trainer and have added the certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Health Coach.
Growing up as a "fat kid" was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have been on my own personal health journey since I was 10 years old. I was hungry to learn how to get healthy and be fit and strong and voraciously read everything I could get my hands on. There is so much information and misinformation available for the health consumer today and I have devoted many years to understanding the human body. I'd love to help make You an Expert on Your body. I'm a click or a phone call away!
Laura Jarrait, CCHA
I have been a passionate eater since my early adult years. Newly married, with a mother-in-law who was quite a competent home cook with tons of cooking magazines around, I got curious. I began to look into them and thought, "this sounds good, I'd like to eat it, guess I'll learn how to make it," and I did, and twenty-five years later, I continue to do that. Enjoyment of what I eat has always been primary, and through my journey as a long-time yoga practitioner and teacher, I have learned to bring together what I enjoy eating and what my body really thrives on, and I can help you do the same. In yoga we say that "awareness" is the first step. We first become aware of what is, then are able to decide if changes would be beneficial, and then we learn how to make skillful change so we feel better. As an experienced yoga teacher, food enthusiast, and mathematician, I bring my global awareness, ability to make connections, and my desire that you enjoy your food together in one place to help you make lasting change.

I’m Sherrie, a WAHM on a mission. I’m married with 2 teens and three dogs, 40’s, an insomniac, vegetarian, home biz owner, Examiner, soapmaker, and anime-lover. What’s the mission? Healing through food and exercise and helping others do the same.
I’m a plant-based eater, but the family is not. My goal is not to covert the family or you, but to provide an example of how food can heal the body, mind, spirit, and planet. I am not a medical professional. I’m someone looking for answers and sharing what I find. For me, heavy meds and surgery are not how I want to cure what ails me, but I will go there if need be. I have a crumbling spine (degenerative discs and bone spurs due to spondylitis), arthritis (my spine and down my left side), Fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, and monthly migraines. Sounds fun, eh? I’m healing and getting stronger thanks to a combination of modern and traditional medicine, a fitness plan, and Culinary Health. As a Certified Culinary Health coach, I can help you find your path to better health.

As an Internal Medicine Doctor, I tell most of my patients with chronic medical problems that I only have two things to offer them: Advice and Medications. Most laugh and would prefer to avoid discussion of lifestyle change. I see using Culinary Health consultation as the next logical step for the remainder of my patients: the motivated minority. Together these patients and I share a goal of positive lifestyle modification to use as a tool for better health.
